Final Project

These are my final photos.  I decided to go with the theme of my car.  I wanted to take different parts of the car and piece them together to create the whole car at the end.  It didn't come out perfect, but I feel it went pretty well overall.  I took pictures of the image without my car their and then moved it to the same spot.  I then worked on the photos in Lightroom to improve the overall look.  After this I went into photoshop and used the magnetic lasso tool to cut out my car and put it into the other image.  After this I erased parts of my car and left different parts there.  The final picture I just tried to capture a good image of the sky and my car.  The sky was slightly washed out and I tried my best to recover it.

Re-Do assignment

This was a field located near me that had this small barn/shed on the plot of land.  I changed some of the clarity, saturation, shadows, etc in light room.

This is another local field near where I live, I really like getting the large telephone wires running and the sky in the picture.  I changed some of the saturation of the colors, clarity, and shadows in light room.

This was a small barn located on the plot of land in the picture right above.  It is kind of run down and I though made for a neat picture.  I changed the color saturation and shadows in light room.

I liked this picture because of the three bulls that were in it.  I thought they broke up some of the green in the middle of the picture.

This picture was taken very to close to the picture above.  I liked capturing the line of trees against the sky.

Self Portrait

I used photoshop to try and get rid of the trash can.  It didn't come out as well as I had hoped.

Assignment #3 Self Portraits

This was the picture of a stranger that I took.  I feel this picture captures the mood that he was in.  The Steelers had just lost and he didn't seem to happy about that.

Assignment #3 Self Portraits

I liked this photo of myself.  It doesn't represent me or show the things that I enjoy but I just thought it was a good photo.  I did like the color of my shirt that really popped out in the picture.

I liked this photo because I thought this represented Keith well because of how peaceful he seems when he sleeps.  Another reason I liked this photo is because of Keith's feet in the foreground which gives the photo some depth.

Another photo of myself that I enjoyed.  It is just one of the better photos I thought was taken.

Photo above that was altered in photo shop that I thought was a different looking photo.

Second Assignment Continued

I really liked this picture.  I liked all the depth that there was because of the trees right in the foreground, the jail in the middle of the picture, and the contrast of the bright colors of the building in the middle of the green of the hill.

Second Assignment

This is the original image that I used for the one that I edited.

This is a photo of some of the houses on Mt. Washington.  I thought that they came out well and I did some cropping in order to get out the jail and some other parts of the image that didn't work well.  This picture reminded me of Art Sinsabaugh.
This was the worst photo I took.  It was at dusk and I didn't have a tripod so the images came out blurry and didn't look good at all.

This was a picture that I took that I did no editing to and I thought that it came out really well and I liked the building have the glass that had a nice reflection of the blue of the sky.

First Assignment Continued

Original unedited picture

First Assignment Continued

This was favorite picture that I edited using light room.  I liked having the tunnel like vision and having the main focus of the light in the center of the photograph.  I was also able to edit out trash that was in the picture that I didn't feel was visually appealing to the picture.

First Assignment Continued

I thought that this picture I took was the worst one.  When I brought it up in light room it was blurry and not clear.  I also didn't want to include the pole at the bottom left of the picture in the picture.  I thought I could have done a much better job than this photo.

First Assignment

This was a picture that I used no effects on.  I really thought the picture came out clear and with good color.  I also liked the location.  It had a slightly rustic feel to it.
